What this policy covers

This policy covers personal information submitted through rosecitycapital.ca, the contact form and Rate Watch. It does not replace privacy notices you may receive from TMG The Mortgage Group Inc., a lender, insurer, credit bureau, lawyer or another participant if you proceed with a mortgage application.

What we collect

The contact form collects the information you choose to provide, including name, email, optional phone number, mortgage topic, preferred contact method and time, and your message. Rate Watch collects your email address, confirmation of consent and the time of that consent. We also process limited technical and anti-abuse information, such as a short-lived hashed network identifier and basic request logs.

Please do not submit financial account numbers, government identification, tax documents, credit reports, passwords or other sensitive financial documents through these website forms.

Why we use it

We use contact information to respond to your request, arrange a conversation, understand the general topic you want help with, maintain service and compliance records, secure the forms and meet legal obligations. Rate Watch information is used only to send the general mortgage-rate updates and planning notes you requested. Website form information is not used to make an automated lending decision, and the site does not submit it to a generative AI system.

Service providers and sharing

Cloudflare provides website hosting, security and database services. Brevo provides email delivery and mailing-list services. Information may also be provided to TMG The Mortgage Group Inc. when needed to respond to you, provide mortgage services, supervise licensed activity or meet regulatory obligations. We do not sell or rent personal information and do not share it for unrelated third-party marketing.

Some service providers may process or store information outside Canada, including in the United States or European Union. Information in another country may be accessible to courts, law enforcement or regulators under that country’s laws.

Retention and deletion

Website contact submissions are deleted from the website database after 24 months. If a contact becomes a client or a record is required for a complaint, legal, regulatory or mortgage-brokerage purpose, the relevant record may be retained longer by Ahmad Haj or TMG The Mortgage Group Inc. as required.

Rate Watch email and consent records are kept while you are subscribed. After you unsubscribe, you are removed from active marketing; a limited consent or suppression record may be kept as reasonably necessary to document compliance and prevent unwanted re-enrolment. Anti-abuse hashes are automatically removed after a short security window.

Safeguards

Safeguards include encrypted transmission, access-limited business accounts, restricted database access, form validation, bot traps, rate limiting and business service providers selected for security and reliability. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to access or correct your website information, withdraw consent, unsubscribe from Rate Watch, or request deletion subject to legal and regulatory retention requirements. To unsubscribe, use the link in a Rate Watch email or email rosecitycapital@gmail.com with “Unsubscribe” in the subject line.
